There has been a lot of talking and gossiping regarding the new Kommander K1 stand up hull that Kommander Industries has been working on it for many months. The first few units are already on their way to USA. According to Dustin Motzouris the new K1 is way too easy to ride it to the limit and it is very stable with great grip when you go round the buoy. Quality and superior finish are in top priority on this new product of Kommander Industries. Dustin owns a family business back in South Africa which is an expertise on building large fishing boats. So they do now what they are doing very well. The hull is made of Fiberglass and it has carbon Kevlar reinforcements is critical areas. Dustin Motzouris will be the ambassador of the new hull in the first round of ProWatercross Tour in the USA however they will be many riders on the line who want to get the new hull like David Redinger and Broc Austin. Initially the hull will be equipped with the new set up of Kommander Industries three-cylinder Kawasaki engine however there are plans to put a Yamaha three-cylinder in the near future. The hull will be available in to editions, one with a SX-R look alike deck and one with a totally different one. Kommander Ind. plan to present the new hull with an official Press Release very soon.
