>Three-cylinder engine from Yamaha

There are lots of rumors regarding what Yamaha will present for 2016. It was published in the past that for many years the company is working on a four-stroke stand-up ski. However, it is very cautious regarding the warranty issues since water bounds to get in that small engine compartment. So the company wants to make sure that the warranty will be safe for the customers unlike what Hydrospace did in the past... Yamaha has developed a three cylinder four-stroke engine that plans to show it in a new Entry Level Runabout. Also, there is a lot of talking about fitting this new engine on a new Blaster hull (actually Bullett Racing is working on a four-stroke Blaster project too...). Will Yamaha use the same three-cylinder four-stroke engine for its new stand-up? The two Japanese pwc manufacturers are coming very close to present their new stand-up. Will they both do it this year? Time will show.
