The picture shows clearly how different are those new sponsons compared to anything else that exists right now in the market for SX-R and SuperJet. They are machined to fit inline with the bond flange with a pointed front so they cut through the water and do not create lift in the rear. They are made of billet aluminum and are pre-threaded to match the oem SX-R and SuperJet holes in the bond flange. Available in black for $159usd from Kommander Industries.
