A few years ago a dentist from Arizona asked someone to build an oversize SX-R for him in order to fit a Honda turbo-charged in this hull. At the same time the builder, who was Chris Hagest was working on a new project, a ski which was much larger than the ordinary stand-ups. Last October ProForce was introduced by Hagest and now another hull builder is working on a larger SX-R hull project in order to fit a Kawasaki Ultra engine in it. Meanwhile we have been informed that another aftermarket hull manufacturer worked on a bigger hull too. IJSBA has given the green light to those projects and the skis will be legal for racing. So will those projects make the two pwc manufacturers (Kawasaki and Yamaha) to finally release their four-stroke skis to the market?
