KOMMANDER/R&D do it AGAIN with the worlds fastest 2017 YAMAHA EX! Kommander Industries has been extensively testing today a turbo system mounted on the new Yamaha EX. First tests showed a top speed of 70mph on 10 pounds of boost with pump gas with a reprogrammed ECU by R&D. So it is nearly a 20mph gain over the stock EX that does 52-53mph. Steve Webster commented This EX turbo package is coming together nicely. I did 70mph today on low boost pump gas set up. This is at 2100 ft of elevation. We are still working on intake grates and prop combinations. This really is just the beginning of the testing. I am sure we will have 75+mph set up at sea level here shortly.
