If you ask any rider who races jet skis to give you an explanation of this sign he/she would most probably say that this water vehicle or pwc is designed and made only for close course racing. This is what most dealers, distributors and salesmen say in Europe too for the Yamaha SuperJet. However, Yamaha spokesman from Yamaha USA gave a different explanation. It means that this jet ski can be used ONLY in a closed course control environment such as a rental business one that does not allow the operators to ride far away from the coast and the beach features small floatation substances on rope that indicate the close course controlled boarders. Therefore, according to the Coast Guard regulations in Europe, or most of the European countries this ski can not be used since it cannot be registered and insured.
