The R&D Cavitation Fighter Pump Sleeve eliminates the square edge transition between the transom plate (155mm id.) and the pump liner (160mm id). The Cav-Fighter Sleeve installs between the two stock parts to blueprint a ramp transition from the transom to the pump liner. When water gets pulled into the pump, the water boils (cavitates) as the impellor is only a half inch (.500) from the square edge. Field testing confirmed by eliminating the square edge the Cav-Fighter Sleeve reduced cavitation on holeshot acceleration and in hard turns.
