R&D Performance and Klipper Racing made a point last weekend at the first Round of the Jet Jam West Coast Jet Ski series where, Canadian Ace, Mike Klippenstein dominated in Pro Stock Runabout Class and he also won in Pro Runabout GP class by riding the same R&D tuned Pro Stock Class spec Yamaha GP1800R. Klippensteins ski was fine tuned by R&Ds engineer Bill Chapin according to Klippers riding style and needs. This is the parts list of R&D Pro Stock set up as it was used on Klippensteins boat: R&D GP1800 Sponson kit R&D GP1800 Scoop grate R&D GP1800 Ride Plate R&D GP1800 Pro Pitch Impellor R&D GP1800 Pro Stock ETS ECU R&D GP 1800 Pro Filter Kit Top Speed 82mph (In Race trim setup at 8650rpm) The boat can go over 82mph with ride plate shims removed (84-85mph)
