This is a new innovative pwc that lies between a stand-up and a Runabout. The new Samba has a semi-prone riding position that is designed to provide the rider a greater range of control and maneuverability. The new Samba looks like a stingray and is ridden in a motorcycle-like, crouch. Evolved over five years and four prototypes, it is so small and light, an 80 bhp motor can offer the power-to-weight and the same 65mph top speed of the fastest 250 bhp sit-downs, with extreme agility, control and acrobatic capabilities far beyond those of a stand-up. According to Craig Nowakowski and Rodrigo Silveira, the manufacturers of Samba, their aim was to design a pwc that would incorporate extreme maneuverability into an ergonomic platform.
