Following an invitation to tender conducted in 2010, the Special Forces Directorate has procured 12 Jet Skis at the end of February 2011. The particular personal watercraft is able to move with safety in sea conditions (SS) 4 and it can cooperate with subordinate Army and Navy means. The means were delivered along with spare part stocks which are expected to be augmented by the procurement of special protective antiballistic covers (coats) and a specialized operator personal equipment (Operator passenger), such as special type antiballistic harnesses- life-vests , helmets etc. During 1-2 March the provided for in the contract checks-trials of the 12 Jet skis were realised along with the personnel training. Such a means of transport allows the planning and the execution of amphibious Special Operations, the dispersal of a segment aiming at an invisible penetration and its precise assembly because of its GPS. Jetskiworld visited the Special Forces campus and watched the new watercraft that was demonstrated by a rider and a passenger.
