Usually the two-stroke triple cylinder SX-Rs are close to 77-78mph, however there are only a handful of those who are close to this kind of speed. The four-strokes proved to be faster since especially after the World Finals. Klippenstein clocked 72.8mph on his Queen Racing prepared S4. Another rider, recently radared his Hydro on a top speed of 75.6mph. Just a few days ago we were informed that a famous tuner clocked 78.7mph on his clients S4. Is that insane or what. However what is the true speed of those race craft in race conditions? Photo of Klippers boat while we were testing it in Havasu.
