Flores raced in Utah Struggling to keep up with the sport finances Rob Flores managed to attend and race in the fourth Round of ProWatercross Tour in Utah. Talking exclusively in Jetskiworld.gr he mentioned the following: “I only raced the first motos of each class on Friday. I was happy with my speed and stamina considering it was first time on a track since World Finals. The problem was my lower back was locking up from no practice or training so I didn’t want to damage myself and didn’t ride the other motos. However, I was happy. I wanted to gauge my boat and my speed on the track and I was pleased with both. The training part and getting in race shape is the easy part.” The photo was taken at Body Beach last February when Jetskiworld.gr tested Flores skis.

Official Race Report of Kommander from the Round 4 of ProWatercross Tour: Round 4 of the national tour was good but very frustrating at the same time. Moto 1 I was able to get the holeshot and had a strong race going until lappers . When I reached the lappers some did not see us coming but some riders decide to race when they are a lap down. I ended up tangling with lappers that caused me to loose the lead at that point .Moto 2 and 3 we had the same issue with lappers getting the blue flag and not ever moving over during the whole moto but instead racing and taking the main line. We could of had great racing but this ruined the event but until the officials enforce the rules things will not change. Hopefully we won't have issues like this again but who knows. We want good racing to grow the sport and put on a good show for the crowd. There are many good riders and skis and the competition is very good in the USA right now but we need a fair playing field for all riders. Hopefully we will get this again in the future. Official Press release of SAS Racing: The second round of the Aquabike World Championship, the Grand Prix of Spain was definitely the most exciting race so far this season. Right before the race we had some issues with my engine and I had to borrow a stock sxr hull with a stock zxi engine to use in the Pole Position race. I had no time to get used to the ski, but still managed to capture a 6th place (out of 24) in the pole position. In the first moto I lost two spots in the start as I was still riding the stock hull, stock engine, but managed to pass my way back up to 5th place. This was very important for me as it meant that I would start in the front row for the 2nd moto. In the second moto I managed to keep my position through the start and defend against the faster skis coming from the back. After the start I did all I could to stay with the leader group and we pulled away from the rest of the field pretty fast. After a 20 minute moto, I ended up in 3rd place, which fortunately was good enough for a second place overall as several of the riders in front of me had very inconsistent results. I am extremely happy with my 2nd place finish as I was set on spending the weekend doing damage control as I had to use a very slow backup ski. My second place this weekend moved me up from 4th to 2nd place in the overall standings of the World Championship. I am very pleased with my damage control weekend turning into a great success. I will be bringing a lot of good points with me as the Aquabike World Championship heads to Asia for two rounds in China and the grand finals in Sharjah, UAE.
