British jet ski champion Phil Pope talks all about his latest ride with Team Jet Porda Racing. Being more precise he refers to the rapid development of the Yamaha turbocharged FZR which has been prepared and tuned by Jet Porda Racing team. “For the European Championship I got the plane to Poland and met Thomas Porda at the air port. The next morning I went down to the race site where the ski was already be prepared for me by the Jet Porda Racing team. This was the first time I had seen this ski for over 7 months in fact since Thailand so I was really looking forward to getting back on it. After many months of working on the ski by the team trying to iron out all the problems we had in the past really showed that this time it was done right as the ski run perfect all weekend it was now a full package extremely fast and really good handling. NOW WE HAVE A RACE BOAT. There is a lot of talking about what Yamaha may release in 2016. The rumors are getting more serious regarding a new three-cylinder 1052cc engine that will equip a brand new Entry Level VX WaveRunner. The new engine will lower the overall price and will make it a very affordable personal watercraft to buy with a low cost of maintenance. Whether the same engine will be used in a whole new four-stroke SuperJet has not been confirmed yet.
