>Phil Pope: “Now we have a race boat”

British jet ski champion Phil Pope talks all about his latest ride with Team Jet Porda Racing. Being more precise he refers to the rapid development of the Yamaha turbocharged FZR which has been prepared and tuned by Jet Porda Racing team. “For the European Championship I got the plane to Poland and met Thomas Porda at the air port. The next morning I went down to the race site where the ski was already be prepared for me by the Jet Porda Racing team. This was the first time I had seen this ski for over 7 months in fact since Thailand so I was really looking forward to getting back on it. After many months of working on the ski by the team trying to iron out all the problems we had in the past really showed that this time it was done right as the ski run perfect all weekend it was now a full package extremely fast and really good handling. NOW WE HAVE A RACE BOAT. With 7 months off this boat and still getting a 2nd overall was a massive step forward for this team now i just need some race fitness back some time on this boat and we hopefully can be the team to watch in the future. for this i want to thanks all my sponsors Jet Porda, Quakysense, RNR, Yamaha Motors, MyProtein, BNJ Parts, Rock Oil, Hydro-Turf, Ipd Graphics, and a massive thank you to Thomas Porda.
