Although Rick Roy and Rickter are close friends with Frenchman Valentin Dardillat we have seen that Dardillat is not using an RRP pole on his new ride. The reason behind it is that the RRP pole is far too big for the B3S mounting bracket. Therefore it some extra work to be figured out in order to fit it. The famous Japanese champion and world class jet ski rider recently announced that this year he will be racing on a Yamaha private team and not the HKS Team. Ishahai has kept the prototype hulls made my Yamaha Japan that he was using last year. However he will not be getting any kind of support from HKS. Until now the tuning of his current Yamaha 1.8 liter power plant is still on a basic level.

Last year HKS Team from Japan had a factory support by Yamaha and two very good riders in its team, Hajime Ishahai and Hideyuki Kurahashi. A few weeks ago, Hajime had informed Jetskiworld.gr that he was left out from the HKS Team without mentioning any reason. He said “Racing is my life. I want to race.” However he did not mention whether he will be racing for any particular Team. HKS Team will still be working on its Supercharged project however, it has not stated yet whether there gonna be any new riders this year in its team.
