Kommander Industries has been working on the design and testing of its own stand up hull for many months. This prototype unit has been extensively tested and perfected step by step with the factory knowledge and experience of Dustin Motzouris. According to the recent information we got from Dustin the new hull features a unique design that makes it so easy to ride. The hull will be equipped with a Kawasaki deck and another one which will feature a Kommander unique design and Stealth aesthetics. The pictured unit was used for testing in South Africa where it was fabricated by Z-Craft, Motzouris family business which is an expertise on making fishing powerboats and boat accessories. Valentin Dardillat’s 2015 season got underway in Doha, Qatar at the first round of the UIM / World Championship. The event marked Valentin’s first real outing under race conditions with his new four-stroke jet, the Belassi B3S. Seventh in the first race, Valentin quickly adjusted and improved upon his riding to take fifth place in the second race. The Belassi rider has already made an impact on the overall standings by moving into 5th position in the championship – although he is actually level on points with 4th position. For Valentin this result is a success in every way, especially as he started the event on a basically stock machine. We look back on his weekend... As he said in his own words “I am very satisfied! The machine I used to begin with was a stock version which we hadn’t worked on. I only received my jets just before the start of the season and I had very little time to practice and make adjustments ahead of the opening round of the championship. Although the stock jet is already very powerful, the steering is very different and it took me some time to adapt to it, and I had to make adjustments throughout the weekend in Qatar. I had difficulties in qualifying and that ended up knocking me to eighth place. Fortunately, my starts were very good as the jet really launches off the line! So the power of my B3S gave me a little advantage. It's complicated at the moment, but I am feeling calm about it. Next week we can start to make some changes and we will work on several things; both to the engine and to the hull. I also have to adapt my riding style. But what I've felt this weekend gives me a lot of motivation for the next round, I'm really confident for the rest of the season.”

Valentin Dardillat showed up in the first Round of the UIM Championship in Qatar by using a set of front sponsons fitted on the front deck of his Belassi. According to Valentin those sponsons enhanced the performance and stability of the craft in to the corners. Those deck sponsons were designed by Rick Roy specifically for Dardillat to suit his riding style.

This is one of the best four-stroke skis we have tested in Jetskiworld.gr. Kommander Ind. has Tyron Motzouris’s SDC Trak – Weber powered ski FOR SALE. Tyron used this Ski at the World Finals and King’s Cup motos. The ski features Kommander Sdc trak hull, big turbo, Autronic ECU which includes Launch Control system , billet crank with a displacement of 800cc. It is a full open boat. The young Austrian Kevin Reiterer starts into his season fired up for a new kind of racing event. The first stop of the UIM World Cup took place in Doha, Qatar where the best of the World thought for the early points lead of the 5 stop racing cup. Reiterer qualified third and had a good spot on the starting line. However, a last minute change of his racing boat to a backup boat made him start in the back of the field. “I felt really comfortable on the backup ski and had no problem to fight my way up front.” explains the sport student. As the 22 year old came quick through the field and caught up to third it seemed he could not hold his previous pace of approximately 5-7 sec faster lap times than the leaders. Reiterer dropped by far and still managed to finish third due to a technique problem in the last few laps. In the second Moto it seemed Nacho Amillias (ESP) and Kevin Reiterer had a battle on their hands for taking the overall victory as both of them were riding on a high base. The Austrian suffered a breakdown and the Spanish finished on the top step of the Podium followed by Jeremy Poret (FRA). Despite the bad luck of Reiterer, he could finish second behind current Slalom World Champion Jeremy Poret in the first Slalom event of the 2015 World Cup. The next stop of the UIM World Cup will take place in Italy in more than 2 months. The Top riders of the world will be preparing at their home test tracks to get ready for the European Grand Prix.
