>SX-R with Spark engine

In the past we have seen a Rotax engine fitted inside the SX-R engine compartment however we have never seen much of it in action. Last year many people said that they were working on this project. However, the Japanese company Unlimited is the first one that made it look so nice and simple. The particular SX-R also features a modified hood and steering system which makes it look like an X-2. >R&D Turbo kit wins Iron Man at Mark Hahn 2015

R&D Turbo kit passed the extreme endurance test and withstood the astonishing abuse of operation in the longest one day Endurance race in the world. Mike Klippenstein, the Canadian superstar won the F1 CLASS ie the Iron Man at the Mark Hahn 300 by running the latest version of the R&D Turbo kit on his Yamaha FX SVHO. His Team mate Gerry Wong finished fifth in F2 Class on the same set up. Craig Warner of Factory Team Kawasaki was also using an R&D turbo kit on his Kawasaki Ultra 310X. That makes it an awesome result for R&D by topping the first two places in Iron Man class. R&d also won the Runabout Class on a Yamaha FX SVHO equipped with the latest reprogrammed ECU mapping and all R&D parts (Intake Aquavein, Ride plate, Sponsons, Pumps stuffers, cooling kit, et.). If those riders win on R&D parts and R&D turbo kits why would you experiment with unidentified solutions? Use what the Pros trust to win. Choose R&D race proven parts and go fast kits.

>Klipper tops the podium at Mark Hahn 2015

Russian Yury Ryabko took the early lead for a while then, Mike Klippenstein who was racing an R&D Turbocharged Yamaha FX SVHO past him and lead the race. Later on Klippenstein ran out of gas trying to make 5 laps on a tank. He had to snip the boat 200 yards to gas therefore he lost about 1.5 laps. Then he lost another five minutes in the pits looking for a cause of a vibration. Ended up being the driveline rubber damper was chunking apart. At this point Craig Warner of Team Kawasaki who also run an R&D turbocharged set up had taken the lead. He pitted and then the boat would not start. They changed the battery from another boat and lost a lap or two there, before got going. The top guys all had some trouble and Pastorello never was near the front leader. With about 50min to go Pastorello inherited the lead and held on for a narrow victory. The Stock Runabout class was won by Christophe Girello who also racing a Yamaha FX SVHO with R&D reprogrammed ECU for 2015 and R&D scoop, sponson, etc. Officially the first three runners were Pastorello 1st, Klipper 2nd and Warner 3rd, however Klippenstein and Warner made the 1-2 in F1 or Iron Man class. As many riders stated there was a real mess in the announcement of the final results at the end of the race. Dustin Motzouris and Sante Buke finished 3rd in Runabout Stock class having done 26 laps although Dustin mentioned that they have completed 28 laps. Photo courtesy: Sebou Girello
