>Akropolis Jet Raid 2014: Pastorello clinched the Akropolis title

Jean-Bruno Pastorello won the two morning Motos on Saterday and he mathematically clinched the title of Akropolis Jet Raid, his fourth in a row. Politis suffered issues with his fuel pump and also had a broken ride plate. Tomaras did not make it to the end of first moto and DNS in the second and Vidal was barely finished with some short of mech issue. Herve faced an issue with his exhaust system (exhaust silicon tube blown off) and did not made it to the finish line. The points for the first five finalists are: Jean Bruno Pastorello (710), Vincendeau (497), Dias (474), Malouchos (469) και Vidal-Lebas (458). The afternoon stage will finalize the positions at the podium of F1 and in the General standings.

The fourth day of the Akropolis Jet Raid was very crucial for the first five riders, the ones that are fighting for a place in the podium. In the afternoon the riders had to race an Oval Close course race of 25 laps in the harbor of the Kalamata, a race that needed less skill but it was going to make the riders feel even more tired at the end of the day. Jean-Bruno Pastorello won the Oval race ahead of Bruno Vincendeau and Lorentz-Breton. David Chassier finished fourth although Pantelis Politis had passed him in the beginning of the race. However, Chassier regained his position since Politis forced to slow down his pace due to arm pump. Jean-Bruno Pastorello is very close to clinching his 4 in a row title in Akropolis Jet-Raid since he has 620 points in the General Classification in front of Bruno Vincendeau (427 points), However Dias (426) Malouchos (413) and Herve (411) will be fighting for the 2 places in the podium along with Vincendeau. The day was closed with the Flyboard show inside the harbor of Kalamata.

>Akropolis Jet Raid 2014: Kalamata-Itilo-Itilo

Friday was the 4th day of Akropolis Jet Raid and riders headed from Kalamata to Itilo and then to 3 secret point and back to Itilo. From Kalamata to Itilo the first three riders arrive to Itilo in this order: Pastorello, Vincendeau and Chassier. However the passing from the 3 way point was not very easy and some riders loose crucial time. When the riders arrived back to Iltilo they came in the following order: 1.Vidal-Lebas, 2.Jean-Bruno Pastorello, 3.Bruno Vincendeau, 4.Vavid Chassier και 5.Akis Malouchos. Greek rider Nikos Tomaras has an issue starting from Itilo since his boat was filled with water inside the engine compartment. Pastorello remains ahead in the points in the General Standing and the F1 Class.

>Akropolis Jet Raid 2014: Chassier wins both motos

In the third day of Akropolis Jet Raid riders departed from wonderful Kapsali of Island of Kithira heading back to Gythio, a distance of 95km. David Chassier who arrived late in the afternoon having missed the whole day, he got the chance to ride full throttle and win that moto ahead of points leader Jean-Bruno Pastorello. Herve clinched the third place ahead of Lorentz and Dias. Akis Malouchos was the first Greek rider in front of Tomaras, Ioannidis and Politis. The beautiful scenery with the abandoned boat gave the opportunity to the photographers to take some awesome pictures. Then riders had to ride in a conservative manner on the way to Kalamata since they had to cover a distance of 125km. Basically very close to the limit of running out of fuel. Chassier made it first to Kalamata leaving second Greek rider Politis and Vidal. However at the end of the day points Dias made it to the top with Malouchos in second place and Chassier in third. Pastorello the points leader of Akropolis Jet Raid 2014 was forced to fifth place but he remains 1st in the General standings with 452 points.

Frenchman Olivier Vidal arrived fourth in Island of Elafonisos with broken handlebars. Jet Raid is full of surprises. However after inspection we found out that his bars were full of cracks. We are trying to find a set of fat bars for him in order to continue his race.

Second day of Akropolis Jet Raid and Jean-Bruno Pastorello remains unbeatable with straight wins in all motos. Riders left from Kalamata, and went to Gerolimenas and Gythio, Island of Elafonisos and Island of Kythira. Riders were faced with extremely rough conditions from Gythio to Island of Elafonisos and the route was change to Island of Kythira. Chassier was forced to DNF early due to an engine failure. Politis was having issues with the water cooling system of his race craft and he stopped at Kitries, fixed it and continued. Illiopoulos crashed his ski on the dock of Gythio and he stopped racing. Jean-Bruno Pastorello arrived first in the Island of Kythira, at Kapsali beach followed by Lorentz, Politis and Tomaras. Philipe Herve finished fifth in place at Kythira.
