Although the Technical Inspection has not concluded yet the provisional rider’s Entry List is as follow’s: Akis Malouchos (Greece), Eric Lebas (France), Olivier Vidal (France), Bruno Vincendeaux (France), Jean-Bruno Pastorello (France), Tasos Ioannidis (Greece), Denis Lorentz (France), Stephane Breton (France), Paulo Dias (Portugal), David Chassier (France), Nikos Tomaras (Greece), Manos Pannousis (Belgium), Philippe Herve (France), Pantelis Politis (Greece), Panos Illiopoulos (Greece). This year many riders from Europe canceled their entry due to many reason, like engine problems from other races, accidents, etc. However, the are still some entries under consideration.

According to race director Bruno Casa this year Akropolis Jet Raid will be the most demanding event ever held in Greece. The rider who will overall will be the smartest rider and not the fastest. Some motos need great sense and ability in navigation and fuel consumption estimation. On Thursday the riders will cover a distance of 125km which is almost impossible to achieve it if you are only fast and not smart.

It is the fourth year in the row that Akropolis Jet Raid is organized in Greece. The beautiful city of Kalamata is the place where the Paddocks are officially accommodate the event this year. It is Monday morning, 9th of June and officially Jet Raid starts today with the technical inspection of the boats and rider’s equipment. Team Pastorello has already set up its pit box with four race crafts. David Chassier is also present. Team ChampionsJetSki with pilot Akis Malouchos is the strongest presence from the local riders. Flyboard Hellas has also set up its booth and pit box for the official demonstration and show.

Race Director Bruno Casa and CEO of Jet Raid Greece Manos Pannousis have arrived at the race site of Kalamata, where the Paddocks will be prepared for the race. Akis Malouchos the heart and soul of HJSBA arrived in Kalamata on Saterday night and today he will set up the Paddock and the formation of it at the race site. The following Friday, 4th day of the Race, Team Force will have an exclusive presentation of KS-3, a stand up Ski specifically designed for kids. It is a learning school for Jet Ski sharing the same philosophy as the mini MX motorcycles. Pascal Barriac the designer of the Ski will demonstrate who safe it is for a kid to ride this kind of ski. This ski will be most possibly changing the whole Entry Level class in the near future.

Riders and teams are already on their go to Greece. The Race Director Bruno Casa has already landed in Greece since Tuesday and he is taking care all the details of the race schedule. The Flyboard Show has been scheduled to take place on Friday and Saterday. Petra Wijnker is coming from Cyprus along with Kyriakos Erotokritou and Toni Natar. Additionally there will be an athlete from Esthonia and Turkey as well as David De Palma the instructor of Flyboard Hellas. Riders will participate in the show two by two and also there will be an exhibition of two riders riding at the same time on one Flyboard. This is a show that happened only a few times in the past in the whole world.
