We have posted in the past the fact that Kawasaki has been doing lots research and development on making a four-stroke Jet Ski. It was supposed to be launched two years ago however due to the global economic crisis plans changed. The fact is that the new ski features a twin cylinder engine that is not made for racing as another brand used to market its skis. On the other hand the company has taken many parameters under consideration in order to be able to supply the market with a Ski that will be accompanied with a true Warranty and as anyone can imagine that is a very difficult task to accomplish of a four-stroke stand up. This is the main reason that Yamaha has not released its four-stroke SuperJet too. However the rumors are beginning to get multiplied for the four-stroke Kawasaki so there is a great possibility to be launched in September. Back in 2003 when the SX-R was launched Kawasaki was celebrating its 30th anniversary in the Jet Ski history. It has been its 40th anniversary this year so the odds are even more to see this new ski coming up.
