Palm Bay's Jet Ski World to welcome the UK's leading jet ski riders this weekend London, 9 July 2013: All roads lead to the Kent coast this weekend for the country's AquaX jet ski riders as they gather at Palm Bay for the third round of the P1 national championship. More than twenty racers are competing in the five-round series, which has already produced exciting action on the River Humber and in Plymouth Sound, and the popular Jet Ski World centre near Margate will be an ideal venue for the two days of racing in the July sunshine. P1 AquaX is usually staged alongside the P1 SuperStock powerboat series, but this weekend it will be a standalone event for the first time since being launched two years ago. Another first at Palm Bay will be the addition of a promotional ski class for stand-up craft, which will be open to all-comers and take the total number of riders to almost forty. AquaX championship manager Lisa Barsby explains: "Jet Ski World lends itself to a ski race because the beach location makes it easy to launch and with more time on the water we want to try something new. We've already had a great response and it's going to be a great schedule of racing."""
