Doug Silverstine was possibly the first rider who did research and development work for Kawasaki Jet Ski department. Here he shows the very first Kawasaki brochure which illustrates the legendary WSAA nad WSAB. We met Doug at Jettrim’s Vintage Jet Ski museum and afterwards we photo shoot him in front of the Team Kawasaki campus.

>The Micro EME miniature

EME’s new Mirco freestyle hull is absolutely tiny so small and compact that makes you wonder whether it is real or not. Its length is approximately 1.60m and the width close to 70cm. Imagine what can you achieve on it when you put a 1200cc engine inside it. However the overall finish and attention to detail has been kept to a medium level since Malone indicates that this boat is oriented for Pro Racers and not for posers.

>J-B Botti got a cracked tip on his heel

Frenchman Jean-Baptiste Botti competed in two classes in Havasu, Pro Ski Open and Pro Runabout Open. However he got hurt in Moto2 of Pro Ski and he could not conclude his great appearance in both classes. He actually almost got highsided from his race craft and as a result he twisted badly his right angle. When he was fully inspected in France he found out that he has cracked the tip of the heel and also he got a torn ligament. We wish him good luck and a fast recuperation.

>Jettrim RXP-X race seat conversion

Jettrim has been perfected the illustrated seat cover for the Sea-Doo RXP-X and the company prepared more than 100 seat covers during the World Finals. According to Gary Hart, owner of Jettrim, the race seat cover features a built in hub that keeps the rider closer to steering system. As he mentioned this year the crafts most probably were much faster since most riders required an extra support in order to keep their body closer to the front. It is worth mentioning that 85% of the seat covers in the start line of Pro Runabout Open at the Hot Products IJSBA World Finals 2012 class were made by Jettrim.

>Jettrim Jet Ski Museum 2012

Jettrim presented for third consecutive year the Jet Ski Museum in the Performance Alley during the 7 days of the Hot Products World Finals 2012. It was a great set up by Gary Hart owner of Jettrim which took almost three days to prepare the whole booth. According to Hart this Museum gets bigger and bigger every year and more people are interested in to learning more about the roots of the sport.

>Slasher does the Back Flip

Victor “The Slasher” Sheldon was invited by Rick Roy to test his new Rickter XF-S hull and the Slasher attempted successfully to do a back-flip. A whole new experience for Victor who did in the past a lot of Freeride. Slasher was amazed about the fact that this craft could be lifted easier high up on the air.
