>Masterton supported by R&D’s Bill Chapin

Australian rider James Masterton runs a Sea-Doo with a supercharger (instead of a turbocharger that the majority uses) and he got many issues during practice prior the major heat race. According to R&D the rider got great help and support from Bill Chapin who managed to fix up his damaged impeller when he was practicing. In the past Masterton used to race a Turbocharged Ultra in Havasu where he got great help form Chapin on his set-up.

>Dustin Motzouris wins GP Ski

South African Dustin Motzouris won the GP Ski class in the 31st Hot Products World Finals by taking 2-1 win in the two motos of the particular class. He rode very focused and consistent and his Ski made it safe to the end of moto 2. However right in the Tech Inspection he found out that his turbo was almost ready to get in to troubles. His craft was prepared by Les Cook of Sea-Doo Centre Australia and the Dustin got great support and help from Kommander Industries crew. His next goal is to win the title in Pro Ski Open.

>James Bushell retained his #1 in GP Runabout

The young rider from UK was the man to beat in GP Runabout Class, however no other rider could meat his pace and rhythm in the course. James rode superbly in the second moto by being ahead of the pack and making a huge safety margin from the second finisher. Bushell actually cruised passed the finish line making a point for a second year in a row. A great result for the British rider who had a different set up on his Les Cook (Sea-Doo Centre Australia) prepared race craft.

>Team Kuwait “Skinny Mo” won Expert Runabout Limited

Team “Kuwait rider Mo Hammed Ibrahim “Skinny Mo” Burbayea taking victory in Expert Runabout Limited powered by R&D Reprogrammed ECU R6 and R&D C19 Supercharge wheel. Also he won the Amateur Runabout Classic class on his GPR. A great result for the young rider and his team mates who worked on his boat. Special thanks to R&D’s guru tuner Bill Chapin who worked countless hours on fine tuning the race craft of Mo. Steve Webster has been totally committed on developing the new fashion of three-cylinder SX-R race crafts. He has been dealing with many different engine and set-up packages the last two years, however lately he has been developing some new ideas pushed the project forward to a whole new level since out last testing that we held a year ago in Lake Havasu City, AZ. We have already tested two of his boats and we have been surprised by the progress that it was achieved in a year’s time. >Rickter hull with Kawasaki engine

This is the first Rickter hull which has been introduced with a Kawasaki twin-cylinder engine in it. Although Rick Roy was planning to launch it in the past it was never done by RRP. However, Steve Webster of Kommander Industries put it all together and designed a specific package for this application. Note the Wet Pipe and the factory Mitsubishi ignition. In the past Webster had built some very powerful Kawasaki twin engines for this kind of use and they were used by Josh Lustic. One of the first ever freestyle crafts was built on a Trinity Composites SX-R hull.
