Sato engineering has almost finished another four-stroke X-2 project. These guys in Japan are doing a great job, we look forward to test ride one of their four-stroke projects in the future.

Multi National and World Champion, American Craig Warner has released his own version of SX-R hulls. The particular hull can be produced in three different lightweight versions and can accommodate a three-cylinder or a two-cylinder Kawasaki engine. However, Warner recently informed as that he has been working hard on new V2 design, a hull that will raise the performance of the SX-R in to a whole new level. Three cylinders SX-R’s have become very popular and the individual aftermarket hull manufacturers are doing their best to beat the four-stroke opposition. WWR Products has not announced yet if they will sponsor a top privateer rider at the World Finals. Craig Warner is practicing hard with the scope to win the Pro Runabout Open class. Craig Warner National and World Champion of Pro Runabout open has designed a new hull for the SX-R which can be equipped with two cylinder or three cylinder engine. The hull comes in three different weight spec and ready to install the stock SX-R components. The particular SX-R was prepared by Sato-Engineering in Japan, however, we have published in the past that Kawasaki and Yamaha they have been working on making a 4T stand up. They consider a lot the warranty issues and the overall reliability of the four-stroke concept. On the other hand Kawasaki celebrates its 40th Anniversary on Jet Ski business next year so an upcoming brand new craft might make a new point, like what the SX-R did in 2003... Rumors say that the upcoming 1600cc Benelli stand up has triggered the Kawasaki project ones again and there is strong possibility to be launched in September. You never know...
