>Jettribe: Congratulations, Yamaha Vietnam

In our pursuit for Global Domination, Jettribe likes to recognize emerging markets all over the world. Vietnam is one such place. As home to Jettribe's Asia HQ for over a decade, we've got a thumb over the pulse of Vietnam, and it is beating fiercely. Many people may not know this, but Vietnam is the fastest growing economy in Asia second only to China. Some fun facts about Vietnam: As of 25 years ago, all public high schools began teaching English to students instead of Russian. At a population of 94 million, half of which are under the age of 35, the young and educated, along with a fast growing upper middle class, are quickly setting Vietnam on a path to becoming a consumer powerhouse. The country itself is blessed with a beautiful coastline that runs north to south, much like California. That is why Jettribe is proud and excited to be at the forefront of Vietnam's growth. Recognizing this, we invested early on in our relationship with Yamaha Vietnam. We're happy to congratulate Yamaha Vietnam for the Grand Opening of their headquarters and Jettribe/Yamaha Showroom on June 07, 2012 in Saigon. Yamaha Vietnam will be using Jettribe Gear exclusively in all their future watercraft events in Vietnam. While Vietnam's racing scene is still in its infancy stage, thanks to Yamaha Vietnam, Jettribe is the preferred gear used in many of Vietnam's Five Star resorts. Thank you, Yamaha Vietnam for what looks to be the beginning of a beautiful friendship! That is why Jettribe is proud and excited to be at the forefront of Vietnam's growth. >UWP-IJSBA National Tour 2012: Colonial Beach, Sunday

The 2012 Liberty Cup in Colonial Beach, VA was a fantastic success with the largest rider turn out of the year. Sunday's Pro Am Runabout Open class was a wild affair with Monster Energy Mountain Motorsports Yamaha rider Dustin Farthing rebounding for boat issues to win both motos and take second overall. The story of the day, however, was the consistency shown by Champion Powersports Sea-Doo rider Brian Baldwin. Baldwin went 1-4-2 in his motos and took home top honors this weekend. We had a new face on the podium with Dean's Team Yamaha rider Abdullha Alfadhel putting his Kuwait Airlines boat on the box for the first time this season. We had another first time winner in the Pro Am Ski GP class in the form of Kommander Industries Blowsion rider David Redinger. Redinger took advantage of a broken exhaust pipe on Jimmy Wilsons Judge Motorsports OptimaRacing.com ski that put him at the back of the pack in the final moto and netted him a third when the results were tallied. Our second place finisher was the wily veteran and owner of the Hurricane Racing Team Bill Haig. Bill had a ton of praise for both of the young riders he squared off against but was very happy standing on the podium again. We had another awesome freestyle exhibition with both Jeremy Parr and Jason Stoyer going huge. The judges were very impressed with Parr's landings and he was able to transition for trick to trick without hesitation. Stoyer put together a triple helicopter combination along with a flip 360 but that wasn't quite enough to best Jeremy's 29.0 and Parr got the win. Gary Burtka put together a nice 2 minute run that included a back flip and settled nicely in the third spot. Breakage seemed to be the order of the weekend and the Pro Am Runabout Stock class was no exception but Neptune Racing Sea-Doo rider Troy Snyder was able to overcome a fifth place finish in moto one by winning the last two motos for the overall win. Erminio Iantosca picked up a spot in the final moto which put him in the number two spot on his Hydro Turf Riva Racing Sea-Doo. And Dave's Auto Body Kawasaki rider Eric Francis made a late race pass in moto three to narrowly edge out Monster Energy Mountain Motorsports pilot Ryan Hardwick for third. Special Thanks to the Colonial Beach Chamber of Commerce along with all the people, businesses and organizations that helped to bring the Hydro-Turf UWP-IJSBA National Tour to Colonial Beach, VA!

>Sea-Doo 2013 revealed end of September

Last year the Canadian based company launch the 2012 Sea-Doo line up in the beginning of July, a fact that most dealers found it catastrophic since the potential customers of the recent line up did not placed any order. Most of them wanted to buy or intended to buy the 2012 model. Probably this was one of the reasons (as well as the global and European economic crisis) that made the Canadian company to change its plans for this year, therefore the new 2013 Sea-Doo line up will be launched in September 23rd. As for rumors there is nothing on air yet.
