UIM Freestyle World Champion Ivan Potanin visited Greece last week not only for holidays but also to test his new FORCE IP5 freestyle craft. Ivan came along with his family and stayed near Yalova. His project partner Frenchman Pascal Barriac with his mechanic Jeremy came along in order to prepare and the crafts and to support the overall progression of FORCE IP5 project. The whole Team spent a week on testing and evaluating several parts of this special project Freestyle craft.

Frenchman mechanic and team owner Pascal Barriac has cooperated with Russian World Champion of Freestyle Ivan Potanin on new project, the production of a Freestyle craft that would elevate the sport on a higher level. Pascal Barriac is a well known Team Owner (JFC Team) and mechanic that is based in South of France and he not only trains and prepares riders all over the world but also he takes care of their race crafts. Ivan Potanin is a successful and passionate rider who started practicing on a stand up since the age of 8 and his personal trainer at the time was no other than multi-National and World Champion of Freestyle, Rick Roy. This year the Old School Museum it will be more spectacular than last year’s first effort. We have already published a lot of vintage ski’s that Gary Hart has already has on his garage and the pictured one is another authentic very special unit. Note the heavily modified deck (around the hood section and at the rear) as well as the hood with the twin latches and the extra Jettrim metal braces. Back in 1992 it was featured on the cover of Splash magazine. The custom graphics reminds us Australian’s Darryl Beatie’s (1996) helmet paint job, rider of GP500.

Those tricky mats were designed and manufactured by Jettrim recently and for sure they change the crafts aesthetics dramatically. Gary Hart owner of Jettrim travels around the world in order to find the best and most unique fabrics and mats in order t use them for Jettrim’s mats. The particular ones also feature Jettrim’s logo on each mat. Therefore, if you plan to renew your SX-R’s traction and aesthetics you know the answer.

Dustin and Tyron Motzouris are practicing on their skis prior their participation for the World Finals. Both riders own two-stroke Kawasaki’s on this photo are illustrated on four-stroke skis. We have published in the past that Dustin had tested the four-stroke ski and he amazed by the power-band of the turbo-charged engine. Yet, it is not known whether the two brothers will compete on a two-stroke or four-stroke at the World Finals.

What does Dustin Motzouris doing when he is not ridding his stand up Ski? Well, obviously he is having fun riding his Ultra 300X or even racing it, just to remember the good old days when he was a factory rider for Team Kawasaki. It has not been confirmed yet whether he will compete in Pro Runabout at the World Finals with Team Kawasaki. Kawasaki has renewed for 2011 Dustin Farthing’s contract and Craig Warner has remained in the Factory Team too. On the other hand Dustin Motzouris is being sponsored by Monster Energy and the latter is still cooperating with Kawasaki. Therefore, if Monster Energy put the money then we might see Dustin Motzouris competing in Pro Runabout too at the World Finals.
