>Farthing with Kawasaki

Multi National (USA) and World Champion Dustin Farthing has renewed is contact with Kawasaki USA. Farthing won last year the title in Pro Runabout Open at the IJSBA World Finals which seemed to be the best way to renew this contract after two year of bad lack and mechanical failures. Farthing will prepare a new Kawasaki Ultra 300X in order to compete in Pro Runabout Open ones again.

>Rumblfish and SE are fine

Our friend from Toru Tanaka (pictured) from Rumblefish (ex-employee of Jetwave) informed us that he and his family were not affected by the major earthquake in Japan. Toru also confirmed that Mr Sato and his business Sato Engineering are fine. Most of the damage was actually done in North part of Japan. We hope, that other Japanese riders and business we know in the pwc, are fine too.

>Hot Products Japan is ok

Mr Scott Saito of Hot Products USA, confirmed that his brother and his family who live in Japan and is the owner of Hot Products Japan is out of danger from the big earthquake and tsunami. Also, there was no damage done in the business of Hot Products Japan and all personnel of the company are fine. We are happy that at least some people we know for years are finally ok and they managed to survive from this unbelievable earthquake.

>Great concern for Marine Mechanic

Our thoughts and concern are to all out friends in Japan that recently suffered from this major earthquake. We found out from our friend Seiji that Marine Mechanic’s (Masayuki Imazaki) business was washed out from the huge tsunami. It is the work shop that built the twin charger Sea Doo (pictured) that won the Japanese Pro Runabout title in 2010. According to Seiji, Marine Mechanic lost this particular race boat as well as many other race craft, personal watercrafts and boats. Many friends of Imazaki raise supplies and try to support him at this difficult time. Though according to Seiji “The trouble of the nuclear power plant in particular is serious. Because there is a threat that radioactivity leaks, some nuclear reactors stop. On this account an electricity supply falls, and there is the worry to be cut off from tomorrow (13/3).

>Warner in Pro Ski

National and World Champion Craig Warner of Factory Kawasaki Jet Ski Racing Team informed us recently that this year plans to race in Pro Ski class too. He is training hard thee times a week already on his Kawasaki SX-R. Craig is well known for his unique character and sportsmanship as well as his professionalism. One thing we do not know is whether Kanamori will prepare his race Ski.

>MacClugage with Riva

Recently we found out that multi National (USA) and World Champion Chris MacClugage will compete on Riva Racing prepared Yamaha this year. There is no official announcement yet from Riva Racing or MaccRacing at the moment until both parties will finalize their cooperation and deal. MacClugage used to race for Riva Racing back in the nineties prior switching to Factory Kawasaki Jet Ski Team.

Franky Zapata, Julie Bulteau and Valerio Calderoni made it two wins out of two to claim overall victories in their respective classes, Runabout, Ski Women’s F1 and Freestyle - to bring to a close a spectacular first ever weekend of UIM World Championship Aquabike racing in the Qatari capital Doha.
