>Lake Elsinore Event April 24-25 Cancelled/Postponed

Due to a variety of factors, the DMP Event scheduled for April 24/25 is going to be cancelled or rescheduled. If the event is cancelled, the remaining events will comprise the series. Participants should treat the event as cancelled unless an announcement is made from DMP Motorsport. The next event is scheduled for June 25 and 26. The June event is expected to have no glitches as the effects of El Nino will be long past and the economy a little less slow. For more information, please visit www.dmpmotorsport.com

>Slippery dominate at Mark Hahn 300

For the sixth year in a row, the best personal watercraft racers (PWC) gathered in Lake Havasu City, Ariz., to compete in honor of fallen racer Mark Hahn. For those unfamiliar with the event, it is a 300-mile endurance race where participants can compete solo or as a two-person team. Riders complete the 300-mile race by finishing 30 laps on a ten-mile course throughout Lake Havasu. This year’s top team featured two of the biggest names in the PWC world. Monster Kawasaki’s World Champion Craig Warner and 8-time World Champion Victor Sheldon teamed up and took home the win. If it wasn’t enough that this team won the event, they did so in record setting fashion with a time of 4 hours and 42 minutes. While speed is a major component of any race, the Mark Hahn Memorial 300 is about endurance, equipment and strategy. Sheldon and Warner proved to be the best in all facets.

>Rossis’s new web site

Personal watercraft enthusiasts usually are involved into other motorsports like MotoGP. Valentino Rossi is unquestionably the most popular rider out there at the moment therefore we decided to publish the latest news that refers to his new web site. It took 14 world championship years for www.valentinorossi.com, Vale’s only official website, to go online. “Scusate il ritardo – sorry for the delay“, says Valentino Rossi with a smile. “But now, I really like the internet!“ And therefore, after www.valentinorossi.com, his next project, www.vr46.it, is ready to go, an exclusive website dedicated to merchandising, with the favourite colours, symbols, fashion wear and accessories of Vale. And once again, simplicity and ease of use are the trademarks of www.vr46.it. The site is divided into four main sections, with complete catalogues for men, women and children, and with a very unique section reserved for special events, offering limited editions of Vale’s merchandise for the most important occasions in Vale’s sporting career. Acquiring the exclusive articles of the VR46 line is now just a mouse-click away, with an intuitive, easy-to-understand menu for the selection of products, and with the help of an operator who is always available on the telephone hotline if need be. Valentino Rossi has always kept a very close relationship with his fans, and now, thanks to the internet, it is even easier to enter his colourful world. And after browsing the catalogue, the link to www.valentinorossi.com offers the chance to keep up to date with Valentino Rossi, his activities, special events, his life in- and outside the racetracks, with the opportunity to listen to his favourite songs, to his voice in interviews, and to enjoy exclusive videos. All this can be found at www.vr46.it, the only website to offer the offical merchandise of Valentino.

>R&D SHO/FZR/GPR Performance Exit Nozzle

The new R&D cast aluminum exit nozzle is designed to fine tune the pump and prop to maximize performance and rpm. The new R&D exit nozzle is available in 2.5 and 5 degree up sweep angles. The 5 degree positive angle lightens the nose of the craft and adds top speed; this is great for recreational use. The 2.5 degree delivers improved performance in rough water conditions by producing more nose pressure to drive the hull through the bumps; this design is perfect for closed coarse and offshore competition. Both types are available in bore sizes of 80, 80.5, 81, and 81.5. *Custom bore sizes from 80 to 90 available at no extra charge, specify size when ordering. The nozzle also offers 4 extra bosses that can be drilled and tapped for extra cooling fittings. The maintenance free R&D cast aluminum one piece construction exit nozzle is the better alternative to a removable ring design. With the new R&D nozzle the OEM reliability and safety is retained, because there is not a removable ring sleeve to vibrate loose, falls out, and get wedged in the steering nozzle, creating a whole new definition to the term BUCKING. Now available at the following sizes: Pt. # 162-82800 2.5 degree / 80mm, Pt. # 162-82805 2.5 degree / 80.5mm, Pt. # 162-82810 2.5 degree / 81mm, Pt. # 162-82815 2.5 degree / 81.5mm, Pt. # 162-85800 5 degree / 80mm, Pt. # 162-85805 5 degree / 80.5mm, Pt. # 162-85810 5 degree / 81mm, Pt. # 162-85815 5 degree / 81.5mm at he retail price of $199.95 from R&D.
