Personal water craft sales have increased substantially in Greece during the 2007 season. Overall 283units were sold compared to the 217units from the previous season. The growth of the market reached a 30.4% which is a remarkable bearing, taken in mind the average annual income. Yamaha topped the sales list by selling 177units giving the company the 62.5% of the Greek pwc market. It is important to mention that the sales figures do not include the sales of grey imports.

Steven Dauliach plans to make big changes to his racing career. He plans to work with HSR-Benelli though up to the moment he has not finalized the official statement. Dauliach was shown at the HSR Benelli stand at the Paris Boat Show.

Frenchman Brice Lopez won the GP Ski class at last years World Finals. According to the Austrian company he plans to remain in HSR-Benelli this year and will race in the European Tour as well as the French Championship. Since the previous World Finals it was known that Rius Racing was no longer supported by Yamaha. Therefore, the young Frenchman came into contact with the Austrian based HSR-Benelli in order to find some means of cooperation. Nicolas Rius is cooperating once again with famous tuner Bill Chapin in order to give a horsepower and handling boost to the HSR S4.

Recently it was announced that this year, the famous race Jet Raid will be held in Peru. The exact days are between the 27th of November and 4th of December, after the World Finals in Havasu. Racers make sure you place a note in your diary since this race is the most prestigious one in offshore racing.

The new Runabout series of HSR-Benelli has increased the interest of the pwc market. Recently the marketing manager Mr Thomas Breuss had visited Greece in order to discuss the terms and conditions of the HSR-Benelli with several different companies. According to Mr Breuss there is a possibility to have six dealers in Greece, though he will inform us about the final contracts soon.
