>Akropolis Jet Raid 2013: Pastorello wins his 3rd title in Greece

Jean-Bruno Pastorello, owner of Pastorello Competition wins the Saterday’s morning stage and get ahead to the points which practically and mathematically the win to Akropolis Jet Rid 2013. The most important fact is that this year Jean-Bruno won every single stage of the demanding race no matter what the difficulties were. There is no doubt that the Frenchman is the man to beat in Offshore/Endurance racing and he has raised the standards more than anyone else in this class. Jean-Bruno appreciates the support of his sponsors: Kawasaki, Isuzu, Hexis enrg drink, Mecadrive, BUD Racing, PJS (Performance Jet Ski – Carlier Brothers), Bouducon, Dragon, JetPilot, Star Bars, Sunway trailer, CrossCall, InterOil lubricants, Idiartech, Sun way. Additionally he says a “BIG THANK YOU” to his crew for doing such a great job. The race will be concluded with the afternoon’s close course race and the Ceremony Awards.

Sammy Pajalin from Finland and owner of 88motorsport.fi finally has enjoyed racing at Akropolis Jet Raid after experiencing many issues with the charging system of his Ultra. With the help of Team Pastorello the twisted wire was fixed and Friday was a day of pure satisfaction for the tall rider from North Europe. He was almost ready to quit and drive back home however we were glad to hear that he will finish the Akropolis Jet Raid.

>Akropolis Jet Raid 2013: Day 4 Afternoon Moto

Jean Bruno Pastorello is definitely the man to beat this year. After winning the morning moto he did really well in the afternoon by finishing in the top of the standing ahead of his team mate Eric Giannini and Rookie Greek rider Stamatis Tsounakis. Vincendeau and Barenghi copleted the first five finishers. It was great to see a Rookie finishing in top three which is a fact that verifies how great this sport is. One prior prior tomorrow’s Grand Prix Pastorello is ahead in the General Classification with 490 in front of Vincendeau (334), Giannini (314), Chassier (283) and Malouchos (246).

All riders started the morning’s moto from Lake Vouliagmeni and headed to Limanaki bay in order to pick up the secret way point before taking their way back to Loutraki. Overall they covered a distance of 60kmh. Jean-Bruno Pastorello toped the classification list with a top speed of 118kmh and finished ahead of Patricia Mosselman. Akis Malouchos climbed in third with a top speed of 117kmh ahead of Giannini and Jorissen locked a good firth place but he recorded a top speed of 118kmh. Thanks to MY-TRACK system there was a very good information regarding the position of each rider and facts like top speed etc. Pastorello remains unbeatable with 8 wins in 8 motos

Akropolis Jet Raid 2013: Day 3 Afternoon Stage The weather conditions got rougher in the afternoon, the wind was blowing harder 4-(5bofors) and the waves became bigger. The riders made a roll on start and they started their 95km trip. After passing the big rock Pastorello the leader experienced some problems with his GPS and he stopped in order to restart it. At that point Vincendau, Chassier and Alain passed him. So as soon as he had a clear screen on his GPS he made his moved and after passing the three riders in front of him he cleared first the secret way point at the bay to before he headed to the root back to Loutraki. He stated that the weather was very tough and riders like Vincendeau and Chassier make the race even harder. Panousis had an issue with the hose of his intercooler so he came back to shore and he started all over again. On the other hand Pazler had some mechanical issues too and he returned to the shore permanently. Pastorello won the moto and this was actually his 7th win out of second motos. Vincendeau finished second in front of Conhen and Chassier. Pajalin did not race in the morning however he managed to fix his boat with the help of Team Pastorello crew and he finished fifth in the particular moto. First Greek rider was Malouchos at the 11th place although he was racing with a twisted wrist.

>Akropolis Jet Raid 2013: Day 3 Morning Moto

The riders covered a distance of 105km from Galaxidi to Loutraki and somewhere in the middle they had to find and pass through two secret way points. The riders were starting either one by one or in pairs with a difference of 3 minutes. Jean-Bruno Pastorello arrived at Loutraki in 1 hour and ten minutes and at the same time the second rider, Eric Giannini was at Ireo. Third was Patricia Mosslman. Greek rider Akis Malouchos finished 5th and he climbed to the 4rth place in F1 class. The Race Director will adjust the final points after the penalties which were applied to the riders who used the extra tank of fuel. In the afternoon the riders will cover a similar distance of 95km.
