Interesting photo of AquaX Champion Russell Marmon and his team mate Ente Sylvain from Belgium with their race winning Kawasaki Ultra 300 from the Portimão International Endurance race in Portugal last weekend. Ente will participate in Greece at Akropolis Jet Raid in the beginning of June.

The talk is all about the flying Finlandman who finished 3rd in Vladivostok last year. This rider is tough and well experienced and he will attend Akropolis Jet Raid with the help of the following sponsors: MAD CROC ENERGY DRINK, 88 MOTORSPORT, TARDEC, LUCAS OIL, RIVA RACING, HOT PRODUCTS, JETTRIBE, CP CARRILLO. Along with him there will be three mechanics, Mikko Wikman, Jussi Holmi, Lassi Kärkkäinen that will support him on every stage of the famous race.

IJSBA and UWP are pleased to announce that Mike Rodgers, the IJSBA Technical Director, will administer the technical inspections and rulings at the 2013 Hydro Turf National Tour. Mike Rodgers is a powersports expert and an instructor at the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute. Mr. Rodgers is also familiar with IJSBA and its policies as a former competitor and participant in factory race efforts. The addition of a Technical Director at National Events allows for the race promoter to concentrate on amenities and competitor services and allows IJSBA to have direct feedback with the racing environment to plan for technical administration at the 2013 Hot Products World Finals. Last years’ Pro Stock Runabout National and World champion Eric Casey Francis finished testing his two Runabout race crafts in Florida. According to his sayings the Pro Stock Ultra 300X is the fastest one he has ever tested and it was even faster than his last years World Finals boat (read the test of his World Finals Ultra on Race Tests Section). His Pro Stcok boat is equipped only with a Speed-Up module and a Ride plate at the moment. However, testing his Pro Open boat which is equipped with a lightweight Lee Manvell hull finished quickly due to a broken intake grate.

Multi National and World Champion Craig Warner, factory pilot of Team Kawasaki Jet Ski Racing made a strong come back at the Wets Coast series first Round which was held in Parker, AZ. Craig puts it in his own words “It was a great weekend. I did not plan on racing ski due to no time on one since last year sometime, but I wanted to test a new design that I have been working on with a fast ski. So I finished the changes Friday before the race and headed out there with it. Amazingly it worked absolutely flawless and made the hull very easy to ride. I honestly could not ride completely to my potential, but I just set a pace above or the same as the field, didn't make one mistake, and just destroyed the field. The hull just worked very well and predictable so it was some what easy, even not riding a ski for some time. I don't want to disclose my changes I made to the hull because it worked so well and made a big difference on a ski with big power. This set up is more focused on the spec 2 hull that is manufactured by myself. My spec 1 hull works very well also, and I will be racing it at the next round. I really enjoyed racing my hull and the way it worked more than any other hull I have ever raced. Looking forward to the next round on the spec 1 hull.”
