>Title for Phil Pope in P1AquaX in UK

This weekend we returned to Bournemouth for the final round of the P1 AquaX in UK. The conditions were rough which was perfect for me. In the first Moto, I received a penalty for missing a buoy which gave me 3rd place. We were all set for Moto 2 when the conditions worsened and the racing was cancelled for the day as a big storm hit the coast. So today we had two races this is where I needed to make it count Moto 2, I went out and pushed hard taking the win. In Moto 3 I was leading the race when 3/4 of the way in I had mechanical problems with an exhaust hose coming off which resulted in last place points. Luckily I still managed to make the podium with 3rd place overall for the weekend. But more importantly I took the championship win in the Elite 300 Class for the third year running. This is a major achievement as it has been won by a different model of Yamaha each year! This would not be possible without my amazing sponsors who I wish to thank Jet Porda Jet Tribe Rock Oil R N R Aysha Rensink RTC Roofing IPD Graphics Hydro turf Deans Team Power Maxed Jet Shed. >Stian will miss World Finals 2016

“Unfortunately I am not racing the World Finals this year. I will be racing the World Championship in China on Tuesday of the world finals week, which means I could at the earliest be in Havasu Wednesday night/Thursday morning with a 30+ hour travel behind me and a 14 hour jet lag and only one day to test the ski before my races would start... This seems like a waste of money to me. I really hope it will work out better next year, I hate missing world finals this year after racing a stock engine last year...”
