Greek multi-National champion Akis Malouchos would like to thank in person Anibal Aliaga from Peru who took the responsibility to provide him with a Yamaha WaveRunner FX SHO 2009 to participate at the Inka Jet Raid Peru. Malouchos had initially arranged to participate with Carlos Torres with a Yamaha WaveRunner FX SVHO of 2015 however, when he arrived in Lima things took a negative direction for him. He was faced with a triple issue, a) to race in F1 class with a race craft that he would not have an idea of what was it, b) to race in F2 class along with an unknown team mate and c) to forget about racing in the first place. Then it was Anibal Aliaga who offered a secondhand Yamaha FX SHO of 2009 to Akid Malouchos in order to participate in F1 class.

After stopping his cooperation with Bullett Racing after the World Finals Multi-National and World champion Chris MacClugage starting testing some different options for his upcoming racing season. A couple weeks ago Chris tested some new hulls with two different aftermarket companies, Raceski.com and ProwatercraftRacing. We contacted him however at that moment he did not want to make any comments. Recently it was announced that he will be riding for ProwatercraftRacing in 2016 and we assume that his three-cylinder Kawasaki engines will be prepared and tuned by Darren Hedlund ex-Team Kawasaki chief engineer who is a very close friend of Chris.

What are the plans of Stian fro the up coming season? Mark Hahn 300 and World Finals will be his only racing choices in the USA. However he plans to race in Europe, Asia and in the Middle East. According to his recent announcement in Jetskiworld.gr “We will start out with the regular Kawasaki ZXI 1100/1200 motor, but we have some exciting projects in works to. I am currently using Tech One Racing built engines but since I will be racing all over I will be in need of several skis. The main ski for 2016, which will be going around to the UIM Aquabike World Championship will have a Tim Judge powered Kawasaki ZXI 1200. The ones I will use for the European races will have a set of T1R engines.” Stain’s sponsors for 2016 are the fllowing: sponsors: Pro Watercraft Racing, Tech One Racing, T1R, Jettribe Yamaha Bergen, Blowsion, Jettrim, Spy, Optics, ODI grips, Shorai Batteries, Bilskadesenteret and IPD Graphics. Alain Martin had simply to finish the day in order to get the remained points and win the Jet Raid in Peru. His day was successful and he got the overall win as well as the title in F1 Class. Diaz brothers won the F2 Class leaving Peru with a big smile on their face. Malouchos had arranged to race along with Carlos Torres in F2 class however, when he arrived in Peru he was faced with a different situation. Anibal Aliaga who has been sponsored for many years by Yamaha supported Akis Malouchos by lending him a Yamaha FX SVHO of 2015 in order to participate in the race and not being left out with… the spectators.
