BJ Ang from Networx Jetsports in Philippines participated at the Asian Beach Games in Thailand on a Pro Stock Yamaha FZR SVHO specifically tuned for the particular race from R&D by Bill Chapin. “You know, I am very impressed with Bill (Chapin from R&D) overall with his efforts in the ski. Mostly on his specific work on the reflash ECU where he tuned it just right to match from Havasu to Thailand weather. He told me just use it and yes he was right. The thing though was that I believe that it needed further work on the impeller pitch. The tune of the ECU was amazing as the bat was just 1.5mph slower than the last day we tested it in Havasu for avgas and Thailand weather. If given the right impeller pitch it would run the same as Havasu. As I have said, the running rpm in Havasu was 8900 something and in Phuket my running rpm was 8640. The next thing that really impressed me was the sponsons and the hook up of the ski while running behind another rider. The twin prop was really feeling better on the white wash and while on catching someone and following him. The sponsons impressed so much as I have already said. When rough water and even jumping in turns, the ski would still hook up and turn tight if you wanted too. The feel of the sponsons is unique and I love it so much. You have control over the craft all the time. Overall, I am still happy and impressed with the ski Bill Chapin made for me and the all R&D parts I used on it.”

As soon as World Finals were over Jettribe crew and Racing Team flew to China for the Asian Games. Among them were, Brock Austin, Robert Sand, Charles Sims, Jeremy Schandelmeyer, Iceman, Eli Kemnitz, Keith Jacques and Craig Warner. Warner is the newest member of Jettribe Team.

The World Championship is over. Kevin has been pretty successful but not only from his side of view…. The Team he Started this year made it even a greater pleasure to race this season. Two youngstars signed for the Team and are Coached by multi World Champ. Kevin winning the two Pro classes, Daniel Andersen (NOR) took care of the Stock World Champion Title and finished third in Ski Limited. A respectively step to the Top ranks in the sport by the Norwegian, which only took him one year. Reiterer started racing junior in 2005 and got to the Pro ranks three Years later. The Swedish Jonna Borgström not only won the European Title but also earned her first Vice-World champion. She improved from a Top 20 place finish to the Podium. “I am really proud of the performance at World Finals. They have gone through a real hard training camp this summer. They have definitely be prepared. However, we need to focus more on the mental aspect of training for the future.”, explains the proud Coach and Manager of the Team. The upcoming calendar shows the legendary King’s Cup in Thailand from December 4.-7. as the next Event they will be competing at. The raceskis are already on their way and after a week of rehabilitation they athletes are back in their training to survive the heat and humanity of the tropical country. The competition in Pro Freestyle appeared to be very good and a handful of riders appeared with new routines with a nice combinations of tricks. Lee Stone and Daniel Martin raised the level in competition and Jake Forest also put an awesome set of tricks too in his routine. However, Japanese rider Haruki Tsukamoto made a serious point on his X-2 style freestyle boat putting an one of a kind show with unique tricks that no one had ever performed in the past. Heel clicker was the new trick of Lee Stone as he was caught on air. Team Rickter riders did not show up this year and according to Rick Roy there was a reason for this decision. Rickter has been working on its own big bore engine which has not been finalized yet therefore, Rick Roy decided to keep it safe at the moment.
