>Klipper wins Moto 1&2 in West Coast Nationals

Canadian racer and Multi World Champion Mike Klippenstein won Moto1 in Pro Ski GP at the West Coast Nationals on Saturday. Klipper looked very strong right from the start and took the win with almost 4 seconds difference from Dustin Motzouris. Klipper’s race craft was prepared by Mark Queen of Queen Racing. In Moto 2 Klipper ones again proved that he is very well trained and he smoked the field by winning the Moto ahead of Copenhaver, Austin, Dustin and Tyron Motzouris. Worth mentioning that Klipper also won Pro Ski Stock class. What an awesome weekend for Mike Klippenstein.

Undoubtedly French Team Pastorello has been proved to be the best Offshore/Endurance team at the most demanding and difficult jet ski race in the world, The Akropolis Jet Raid. Four years in a row Team Pastorello prepares and tunes the Kawasaki Ultra boat with great accuracy by extruding the most out of it without affecting reliability in a negative manner. Jean-Burno Pastorello has won the F1 class and the General standing with Ultra 260X, Ultra 300X and Ultra 310R. He has been racing jet skis ONLY with Kawasaki since he started his racing career. The plate #8 is the number that his son uses on his football T-Shirt.

>Force KS-3: Soon on many Race Teams

The idea and philosophy of KS-3 was loved by many team owners and soon some of the best European and French teams will be equipped with such a Ski in order to have it as a primary school on their teams. Therefore, they riders will be able to teach kids how to ride safely a jet ski. Next year there will be a Junior ski class in the French Championship with this kind of Skis which is a very important step for the sport. FFM has agreed already for this Class and it will support in all of the race events.

>Akropolis Jet Raid 2014: Pastorello clinched the Akropolis title

Jean-Bruno Pastorello won the two morning Motos on Saterday and he mathematically clinched the title of Akropolis Jet Raid, his fourth in a row. Politis suffered issues with his fuel pump and also had a broken ride plate. Tomaras did not make it to the end of first moto and DNS in the second and Vidal was barely finished with some short of mech issue. Herve faced an issue with his exhaust system (exhaust silicon tube blown off) and did not made it to the finish line. The points for the first five finalists are: Jean Bruno Pastorello (710), Vincendeau (497), Dias (474), Malouchos (469) και Vidal-Lebas (458). The afternoon stage will finalize the positions at the podium of F1 and in the General standings.

>Akropolis Jet Raid 2014: Pastorello gets closer to the title

The fourth day of the Akropolis Jet Raid was very crucial for the first five riders, the ones that are fighting for a place in the podium. In the afternoon the riders had to race an Oval Close course race of 25 laps in the harbor of the Kalamata, a race that needed less skill but it was going to make the riders feel even more tired at the end of the day. Jean-Bruno Pastorello won the Oval race ahead of Bruno Vincendeau and Lorentz-Breton. David Chassier finished fourth although Pantelis Politis had passed him in the beginning of the race. However, Chassier regained his position since Politis forced to slow down his pace due to arm pump. Jean-Bruno Pastorello is very close to clinching his 4 in a row title in Akropolis Jet-Raid since he has 620 points in the General Classification in front of Bruno Vincendeau (427 points), However Dias (426) Malouchos (413) and Herve (411) will be fighting for the 2 places in the podium along with Vincendeau. The day was closed with the Flyboard show inside the harbor of Kalamata.

>Akropolis Jet Raid 2014: Kalamata-Itilo-Itilo

Friday was the 4th day of Akropolis Jet Raid and riders headed from Kalamata to Itilo and then to 3 secret point and back to Itilo. From Kalamata to Itilo the first three riders arrive to Itilo in this order: Pastorello, Vincendeau and Chassier. However the passing from the 3 way point was not very easy and some riders loose crucial time. When the riders arrived back to Iltilo they came in the following order: 1.Vidal-Lebas, 2.Jean-Bruno Pastorello, 3.Bruno Vincendeau, 4.Vavid Chassier και 5.Akis Malouchos. Greek rider Nikos Tomaras has an issue starting from Itilo since his boat was filled with water inside the engine compartment. Pastorello remains ahead in the points in the General Standing and the F1 Class.
