Multi-National and World Champion Chris MacClugage was testing Kommander K1 skis at Body Beach in Lake Havasu City. One day before the Mark Hahn 300 race MacClugage showed up for his regular training and he had the chance to test ride the K1 (with the triple Kawasaki engine) and the S1. He looked fast on the K1 and comfortable on the S1.

Talking about the potential of the S1. Watkins spent some time riding and playing around with the S1.

Scott Watkins of Yamaha USA was spotted in Body Beach in Lake Havasu City testing Kommander K1 and S1 skis. Watkins started his test ride by riding the S1 powered by Yamaha ski and then he had a go on the K1 TR-1. In his conversations with Dustin Motzouris he had nothing to say but positive comments.

Another set of a Kommander K1 and Kommander S1 boats were ready to go to their customers. Apparently they are gonna be set and prepared for racing. Kommander Industries is built hulls every day. They prepare complete stand up boats that are ready FOR SALE. And they sell boats. So, there is a market for stand-ups in this sport…

Thanks to Dustin Motzouris we had the exclusive opportunity to test a OneOff Burn wet suit and vest which was designed and fabricated for a limited edition number of riders for the World Finals of 2014. Dustin provided us with his own, personal set of Burn gear. Need so say more? I would mention one think. That in mid of February I was feeling so comfortable and warm in this wet suit.

Obviously it is not a regular Yamaha FZR. Note the modified deck with the repositioned aftermarket steering system. The seat unit is also heavily modified. According to our source the hull is a complete aftermarket unit.
