>Kommander K1 tested

We took Dustin Motzouris’s practice ski for a test ride in Body Beach close course in order to find out why there is so much talk about this new race ski. First of all you get surprised of the very good weight distribution since the ski feels like a twin while you riding it. The hull is a race oriented one with great stability at the straight and very good performance while going round the buoy. You can be late on the brakes and back on the gas as soon as the nose of the boat passes the buoy. It turns sharp with great accuracy. The boat has no signs of hopping the nose or wanting to go hunting. You point at the entry lane and you turn sharply close at the buoy. The wide tray enables the rider to put less effort while riding. Leave it at the hands of an experienced rider and he will bring it to the checkered flag.

>Kommander K1 TR-1 tested

Developing a four-stroke is not an easy project especially when you want to use the new Yamaha TR-1 engine which differs so much to any other four-stroke pwc engine due to its cross plane crank. Kommander is on to it and this boat shares the popular K1 hull used with two-stroke applications however it features some small differences to certain spots that makes it perform better with the new engine. It is another stand up ski of Kommander that feels so lightweight when you ride it due to the well balanced engine inside the engine compartment. From mid to top rpm you feel the exceptional toque of the motor that pulls hard without being so aggressive. Very stable on the straights with great hook up. It has lots of potential and we will see more of it in the near future. A great job by Kommander crew.

>Kommander S1 tested

This hull is a direct substitute of the Yamaha SuperJet which means that if you are tired of your SuperJet you can bolt on everything on to it and have a brand new Ski. A Ski that is more stable than a SuperJet, turns really easy around the buoy course and has very good hook up compared to the Yamaha. Also, it feels so light and with the second fuel tank it will help you have more fun without going so often back to the shore to refuel. Additionally, it is equipped with footholes therefore it raises the fun factor since you can still have fun on the waves practicing your freeride skills. It is an excellent ski for all levels of riding skills. A complete test will be published shortly providing a full spec list.
