Today the sport lost one of its greatest personalities. Gary Hart owner of Jettrim passed away after fighting cancer for a few months. He was a real legend, a person who was so much dedicated to jet skiing. The founder of Vintage Jet Ski Museum with the scope to show to the youngster how everything started. A person with unique passion to the Jet Ski history. He was an outstanding Jet Ski and Bicycle collector too. A true inspiration to our work and our passion to meet Clayton Jacobson II The Inventor of Jet Ski. I lost a very good friend but he will never be forgotten. R.I.P - Gary

Yamaha introduced RiDE system in 2014, five years after BRP and sounds to be more of an evolution of the IBR made by Sea-Doo in 2009. Like iBR, RiDE features a standard right-hand throttle along with a new left-hand lever that activates a redesigned reverse bucket. By engaging that bucket, a rider can effectively slow forward motion, mimic a neutral setting, and put a RiDE-equipped WaveRunner into reverse. The system uses both the craft’s ECU and a BCU (boat control unit) to interpret rider input and translate it into movement at the reverse bucket actuator. Rather than a one-piece-fits-all solution, that latter duo are calibrated to the power and weight of each individual model, ensuring that the response is appropriate for the weight, size and power of each craft. We have been invited by Yamaha Importers of Greece (Motodynamics S.A.A.) in France to test four new Yamaha’s, all equipped with the new RiDE system. Stay tuned.

Are you looking for a carbon Yamaha hull or a carbon top deck. Gyorgy Kasza from Hungary makes body parts with the infusion method and as he commented the products are strong and lightweight. For a Yamaha bottom you should expect to pay 6000usd and for a top deck another 4000usd. The bottom hull is made out of the RXP-X hull however it features a different front and it is modified in the rear to match the FZR top deck and it weighs 40kg and the top deck 15kg, so overall the weigh of the Yamaha hull is 55kg without the hood and the seat unit.
