Let’s get the New Year rolling with the one and only Daytona Freeride January 16-19th! This will be Jettribe’s 6th year attending the Daytona Freeride. As always we look forward to seeing the hardcore riders and the great times that seem to follow this group. Nicholas Foederer has always given Jettribe a warm welcome and we have to give him a shout out for all of the work he has done to put this competition together. Derek Correll and Jeremy Schendelmayer will be fashionably late due to their daytime jobs, but they will be in Daytona Beach just in time to party Friday night. So if it’s gear you’re looking for at the Daytona Freeride, look no farther because the Jettribe crew and tent will be set up early Saturday Morning. Limited inventory of gear will be on hand, so don’t waste any time hooking up with Derek or Jeremy and stocking up on the best riding gear.

Ross Champion is preparing his new Freeride watercraft at Blowsion. We know already that he is using a new DASA engine this year. According to Kyle Kennedy from DASA Racing this is the spec of Ross Champions DASA powerplant. Ross's engine is a Stock Stroke (crankshaft) 89mm Bore (cylinder). OEM Crankcase - Epoxy, Bored, and CNC Ported, Stock Stroke Crankshaft - True & Welded, Stock Stroke Cylinder - Billet 89mm Power Valve Cylinder Kit, Ported, Intake Manifold - Dasa Billet Dual Intake Manifold with V-Force 2 Reeds, Carbs - Dual Mikuni Super BN 46's.

Marks's engine is a 10mm Stroke (crankshaft) 89mm Bore (cylinder) that includes the following: OEM Crankcase - Billet Stroker Plate, Epoxy, Bored, CNC Ported and Trenched for 10mm Crank, 10mm Crankshaft - Forged 10mm Crankshaft, 10mm Cylinder Kit - Billet 89mm Power Valve Cylinder Kit, Ported. Ross Champion’s FP1 boat is in final assembly up at Blowsion. He has just got the DASA Racing 850 dropped in with a hull full of accessories and some fresh white Hydro-Turf. His boat will feature the brand new Blowsion billet handlepole. John Dady will paint the boat specifically for the Freeride event in Florida. It going to be a tease. Stay tuned.
