James Wilson has got another V-Drive SX-R hull from Trinity Composites and he has already started to work on it. According to his posts he is preparing new set of graphics and he has already got some parts (pole bracket, handlepole, etc) to start preparing his new race boat. Scott McKenna also informed us that him and Tim Judge are working on some new ideas in order to extract more power out of the Kawasaki three-cylinder powerplant. Tim Judge’s three cylinder SX-R was tested after the World Finals and you can read the complete test which is published in Race Tests section.

Mark Gomez recently posted the photo of the engine compartment of his new Rickter FR2 Evo freeride boat. Gomez is well known for his race activities round the world since he competes in Freeride events in Australia, Japan and Europe. His race boat is being prepared from T.C.Freeride and it is equipped with a DASA 1000cc engine. He will make his debut on his new Rickter boat at Daytona Freeride event later this January.

According to Chris Hugest founder of ProwatercraftRacing.com the new ride plate for the SX-R is coming along. A few more tests to be done in order to finalize the feeling and the details in terms of handling and speed. If it is as good as the front and rear sponsons make sure you will not miss it. The well-known freeride world champion Ross Champion plans to come back in action in the beginning of 2014. According to his recent announcement he will play key-role to the promotion of a new project. He will kick of the new season at the Daytona Freeride contest in January by riding his new Ski which is prepared by Blowsion. His racing activities will be sponsored by Blowsion, Dasa Racing, Burn Industries, Full-Gaz, Hydro-Turf, PFjetskis and Cold Fusion. Ross’s last contest was Blowsion Surf Slam in 2011, and he was fortunate enough to walk away as a winner from that event. Additionally, even though he was unable to attend the final stop of the IFWA World Tour in Brazil, he still finished the year in second place. He has been ridden a little here and there from time to time, but nothing all that serious...till now. It is good to know that such a remarkable rider is coming back in action.

Honda Motor Co., Ltd. solemnly acknowledges the passing of Mrs. Sachi Honda, the widow of the late Mr. Soichiro Honda, founder of Honda Motor Co., Ltd. Mrs. Sachi Honda passed away in her own home at 3:05 p.m. on December 15, 2013, due to natural causes. Born on July 11, 1914, Mrs. Honda was 99 years old. A private funeral service was held by the family. In compliance with the family’s wishes, all expressions of condolence (condolence visit, money, flowers, telegrams, etc.) is respectfully declined.
