Introducing for 2014 the new Blowsion billet adjustable handle pole. In development and testing for over two years, this lightweight futuristic design incorporates every feature and request from not only the design group here at Blowsion, but feedback and testing as well from the top Pros in racing, Freeride and Freestyle. Bullett Racing prepared a new Runabout hull specifically for Farthing’s needs. According to out source the hull featured a new pump tunnel and could accommodate the Kawasaki pump and complete drive line. The hull has a different design on the side in order to be leaned more aggressively and also it features a deeper keel. Bullett Racing might prepare similar hulls in the future however they will do it under a different deal.

Craig Warner is leaving Team Kawasaki with the scope to work for Mountain Motorsports at Sales Manager. This was a surprise after the World Finals since it means that Kawasaki’s race budget was most probably got even smaller fro 2014 or completely eliminated. However, we have not been informed yet whether Fathing’s Team will prepare a race boat for him. So Warner leaves California to move in to Georgia.

We had the great opportunity to meet Jerry Richardson (second from left) who was the first rider ever in the history of Jet Ski Racing to win a race, and the race was held in San Diego in June of 1967. Along with Jerry are Doug Silverstine, Bob Phares, Tim Campbell and Brad Southworth. All of them met at Vintage Jet Ski Museum of Jettrim. Gary Hart did a great job this year putting everything together ones again.

This is big news for the pwc industry since Dustin and Tyron Motzouris plan to move their business from South Africa in Arizona with the scope to run a big dealership selling Kawasaki, Honda and Yamaha products. Apart from pwc they will also sell motocycles and ATVs. Therefore, Kommander Ind. will be selling and working on Runabouts too. Fast Powersports is their Dealership in South Africa and it the second business besides Z-Craft. Dustin Motzouris is moving over to Arizona in January. Possibly these are the major facts that puzzle Dustin apart from some issues that he had with his new boat and did not do very well in GP Ski. As previously mentioned Motz will be the official USA Dealer of Burn Ind wetsuits and apparel. We wish these guys good luck to their future plans.

James Masterton of Sydney Sea-Doo was spotted at the Performance Alley at the World Finals wearing next year’s Jetpilot apparel. He is an official Jetpilot Team Rider. Rumors say that James will be coming next year at the World Finals to compete in Pro Runabout Class on a tricky turbo race boat.

We have extensively tested the brand new R&D turbo kit for the Yamaha FZR carrying out many runs and buoy testing with the R&D crew. We also tested it with a different actuator and higher boost pressure in order to verify AFR, rpm, and boost pressure readings. We spent more thaan two gas tanks of fuel on testing this boat and it was not just a simple run test. The complete report is published in the Tests section. Do not miss it.
