>Triple cylinder S-4

Steve Webster, owner of Kommander Ind. is most probably the most passionate person when is comes to Skis. Recently he prepared a special project on which he used an S4 hull with a triple Kawasaki engine. It is a fantastic job and you really get amazed of how he managed to do such a clean and neat job. Take a look at his photos on Facebook and look at work that was done on the engine mounts, the electric and battery box and so on. In the past some riders that had put a high tuned XP engine inside the S4 hull had mentioned that the faster is goes the worse it handles. On this issue Steve commented “This one works well. It is a Super fun ski. It feels very light and fast. Handling was very solid. Different than the SXR but still very solid.”

>Gary Hart: The Collector

Gary Hart, owner of famous and reputable company Jettrim which is well known for its bitchin stichin goodies, is a jet ski collector. Gary owns a lot of old school jet skis that keep them in an immaculate condition. Recently he purchased another two old Kawasaki’s, model of 1973. He is pictured with his joy and pride, the JS400. gARY is the "heart and soul"" of the Vintage Museum in Havasu which was set up last year at the World Finals and tends to get bigger this year."

PJS, i.e. Performance Jet Ski was one of the greatest companies on designing and manufacturing Race accessories and building race crafts. Jeff Jacobs, Karen Jacobs, “The Ripper”, Michelle Baynes were some of the selected riders that were sponsored by PJS. This is an old illustration of a catalogue that actually features all necessary bolt on parts in order to transform a Kawasaki JS550 to a complete race weapon.

Victor “The Slasher” Sheldon is one of the pioneers of the sport and he plans to attend this year the World Finals scoping to race in Vintage Ski class. Sheldon will prepare his Kawasaki 550. His special 550 will also be displayed at the Old School Museum that Jettrim’s Gary Hart is setting up once again.

>Turbo kits: A smart investment

Turbo kits are a smart investment for those who want power and better overall performance from their natural aspirated craft combining good results with less fuel consumption. The later is very crucial now days that people do not want to spend a lot of money on race gas or AvGas. In the ast we have published several Turbo kits for the Kawasaki, Sea-Doo and Yamaha engines including R&D’s turbo kit for the Kawasaki (see Features section). Turbo kits are ideal for Off-Shore Endurance racing too where fuel consumption is very important. Do not forget that R&D is preparing a very sophisticated Turbo kit for the Yamaha engine while Riva has already announced its turbo kit for the new Sea-Doo 2012 model.
