>Vinyl graphics made in Japan

The illustrated graphics were particularly designed for Crazy House’s SuperJet. Though what it cannot be seen in the picture is that this graphics kit is vinyl made and consists of a few parts that stick very well on the surface. In the past we had present another company in Japan that makes really tick graphics of very good quality and they were used by Minoru and Emi Kanamori. Vinyl graphics provide better color quality, they are thicker and stick on the surface very well. The ones we present this time are made by Rumblefish and we assume that they have the same good finish and quality.

>Walt’s Motorsports closed down

This is sad news for the personal watercraft enthusiasts and all those racers that for 29 years visited Lake Havasu City. We found out just this morning (3/5/2011) that the big store of Walt’s in Havasu was going through some very serious issues due to the bad economy that has been affecting USA for years and especially at this moment (high fuel cost). Walt’s Motorsports has been supporting the pwc race community and especially foreign racers during the World Finals and every other International event for years. We had published a story on this particular pwc and motorcycle store in the past (read it on Features section) and we knew the people who worked there as well as Tony Beck who was running the business. Any kind of personal watercraft race or event will not be the same anymore in Havasu without Walt’s. We hope that we will soon see it coming back on its feet.

>S4-ZXi test results

Recently we had published Teddy’s approach and project on building a three-cylinder S4 by placing a Kawasaki ZXi 1100 in it. Teddy, from Northern Europe informed us that due to better weather conditions he managed to test ride his project craft. He is pleased with the overall handling and speed which at this initial stage is up to 62mph. According to his estimation a longer impeller is needed as well as a fine tune adjustment to the carbs. Take a look on his project at those two videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXq3GNa-srk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8JQ6JivdCk&feature=related
