There are guys that have guts and courage to ride on the ice waters of Alaska. These are exceptional riders and use their pwc on a terrain that is very dangerous. We are have to feature them from tine to time on www.jetskiworld.gr The photo below are from our trip we took August 6-8, 2010. We rode from Whittier to Valdez on Friday, spent the night, took a fishing charter on Saturday, spent the night, and Sunday rode home on our pwc from Valdez back to Whittier. It looks an awesome trip as it is featured on their web site (www.pwcalaska.org).

Bullett Racing new ride plate has only been used in the past by Steve Webster who builds Motzouris’s race crafts. The ride plate is the same as it has always been. It is approximately 4inches over stock in length. The one illustrated on the photo is Motzouris’s 2005 ride plate that features and additional hole underneath the pump nozzle. "Bullett" has revolutionized the ride plate by using Formula 1 design technology. The "Bullett" ride plate will improve overall speed and handling of your watercraft making your riding experience the best possible. It will fit Kawasaki 800 SXR and it improves straight line tracking, lean angle and overall speed. It is made in a Carbon Compressed molded which means that it will retain its shape and will not bend like aluminum ride plates. It has been used by top professional riders. These Supercarbs were illustrated on ash factory blog and are made by Bun Freestyle. The inner diameter reaches 55mm and most probably tuners fit those to big bore engines. Engines that need instant bottom end acceleration which is what is needed from freestylers.

Lat year we had featured the revolutionary two stroke powered Samba that made it to the news. We contacted the company, Silveira Group to find more about it but at the moment (May 2009) there was no model available for test ride. We sea the company at the World Finals too but neither at that time there a unit available for testing, only for display. Now, you are looking at the first exclusive images of what we expect to become the Personal Water Craft V 3.0 – it's the brand new “Green” Samba. It has the same straight line 65 mph performance of the fastest 260 bhp sit-down PWCs, combined with handling and agility far beyond those of a stand-up PWC. The biggest benefit though, is that the Green Samba uses twin direct drive electric propulsion pods (unit pictured bottom left), so it doesn't directly deliver any hydrocarbons, CO2 or NO2 into delicate marine environments. Equally as important as the lack of noxious gases, the Green Samba is also completely silent, removing one of the greatest causes for complaint against PWCs and no doubt offering respite for those creatures with extremely delicate hearing which live on and under the water. A working prototype of the carbon fiber construction Green Samba will most probably be already on the water for testing purposes. The point is will ever see it coming in to the market and how much will it cost?
