For the past year we have seen lots of turbo set ups on Ultra’s, all of them bolt on a bench presented on Boat Shows, or other exhibitions. On the other hand we never had the opportunity to see one operating on the water. The first one we rode was completely made in Greece apart from its ignition which was supplied and programmed by the Australian Todd Boaer (of Jetworx Marine) himself. Chief Commander Steve Webster owner of Kommander Ind. recently supported www.jetskiworld.gr by supplying the author with the following: An SX-R cylinder head with girdle set, angled reed spacers, Limited and Open exhaust flanges for Factory Pipe, pole tensioners (high and low), stickers and a small Kommander gear bag. Steve has been a good friend and tech supporter and he has been cooperating along Dustin Motzouris with Vasilis Moraitis for the past 5 years. We plan to test and evaluate each product and soon we will release a detailed report on each and everyone on the Open (and Limited) SX-R that we use for product testing and evaluation. A San Francisco based company packed with endurance athletes and engineers is building an electric jet ski. According to Eco Watercraft the Eco1 will do more than 50mph. As quick as that is, it is nothing compared to the price. This new watercraft will cost as high as $32,000 when it goes into production in 2011. It is bound to be expensive since it is new technology but it will open new horizons in the recreational segment. The electrics are housed in an air- and watertight casing so you won’t get fried should you somehow manage to sink the vessel. Also, it will sport solar panels and will be built in a factory powered by renewable energy. Taylor hopes to unveil the Eco 1 at the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii next October. He says a second prototype with a carbon fiber hull will be finished in five weeks and the company will start taking orders by the end of the year. Once production on the Eco1 begins, the company will start work on an cheaper model with a little less performance and a price around $10,000 to $12,000.

This new vessel incorporates a jet drive for increased safety and better surface performance. The J model is approved for recreational use by the US Coastguard and is able to be registered as a conventional powerboat in most countries. It is powered by a Rotax engine which is available in 155hp or 215hp supercharged variants. The engine and jet drive can be easily maintained at any personal watercraft dealership, making it a far easier watercraft to own and operate. Well, Sea Doo had a dolphin on its logo long time ago but these guys made a dolphin power by a Sea Doo engine...Though, the company has other engines options too.

Billet girdled head kit for Kawasaki 800 SXR big bore. Domes fit up to an 85mm bore. Kit includes head shell, one pair of domes, girdle kit, O-rings, and all necessary hardware. Head shell is clear anodized for protection. The particular head is a bolt on product and it is easy to install. To use it with stock carbs you must also order part# ka800brk-carb, the optional cable bracket. This head will work with Factory Pipe's 800 dry pipe. No cylinder modifications required for girdle kit, just bolt it on.
