>TBM Ultra adjustable plate #2

This is a second option to the Ultra customers that requires no adjustment. The trim tab is activated by the steering nozzle and makes life easier for the weekend enthusiast. According to Tim Bushman this design offers less mess with the adjustments and in general terms it is more user friendly to the riders that look for better performance though are not involved in racing. The quality and finish is superb and enables the user to retain the reverse bucket. Both ride plates are available from TBM Racing and Hot Products USA.

>TBM Ultra adjustable plate #1

During the World Finals TBM released a new ride plate for the Kawasaki Ultra 250X. Initially it was on display at the TBM booth and the ride plate featured an adjustable built in trim tab. According to Tim Bushman this design offers better drive through out the turn since it can be used as a brake when approaching the buoy in order to lower the nose down and increase the planning surface as well as drag. Additionally, it enhances acceleration when exiting the buoy. It’s a smart design as seen by the pictures; one is activated by a trim lever which is fully adjustable. This mean that you are able to adjust the angle you want of the nozzle according to your riding style or race conditions.

>Maximum protection

Having an accident with a high speed Runabout or Ski may cause severe damage to the neck or an even worse trauma. The MX type helmet has great friction to the water surface and it may prevent even the sudden snap of the neck. A newly release protection that was initially designed for the MX riders is called Leatt Brace and it actually protects the spin section on the neck and skull support area. Norito Nakano was most probably the only rider that was using this high etch but still crucial protection during the World Finals. Since the speed of race crafts have increased at a substantial level I would strongly recommend to every single racer to use such a device.
