According to our respectable sources we are expecting to see at least one brand new personal water craft next season from the three major pwc manufacturers. During mid of August Yamaha will announce officially its new pwc range while Kawasaki and Sea Doo will reveal their new models in September. For the time being we do not know whether any of them are planning on introducing a new four Ski.

Frenchman Multi National and World champion Nicolas Rius has stopped his cooperation with Yamaha and Yamaha Europe. This season he has participated in some racing events either on a Runabout or a Ski. He has decided to alter his personal web page for his race team. The updated Honda four-stroke engine of 1470cc is liquid-cooled dry-sump inline four-cylinder unit with intercooled turbocharger. It is equipped with self diagnostic PGM-FI system with automatic enricher circuit and a computer controlled digital ignition with three-dimensional mapping. Bore and stroke measure 75x75mm and the compression ratio is kept at the safe level of 8.5:1. The engine is via a 54mm throttle body from the 23.1galon tank. According to Honda engineers the new engine produces 197.3hp a lot less than the rest its competitors though the new craft reaches the bench mark top speed of 65mph.
