Rius Racing has released a graphics kit for the Kawasaki SX-R. These stickers are constructed from heavy duty materials that can withstand the heat and the UV rays. Recently the team manager of the JFC Team, Pascal Barriac has announced that the aftermarket parts that his team has designed for race use for the Ultra 250X are for sale. Therefore, according to Barriac the cost of the front hood is 630euro (without tax) and the price of the seat reaches 700euro (without tax). According to a Yamaha source the company plans to bring out of the production line a brand new Super Jet. The new Super Jet will have a whole new hull which might be the same as the one that was developed by Rius Racing Team. It will be equipped with a new two stroke engine with a displacement of 850 – 900cc. Though, it was declared that it will not be for sale in Europe and it will only register for Competition Use Only.

The young rider from UAE was a former rider and world champion in personal water craft racing. He competed in the Aquabike series that were organized by UIM. He works as a mechanical engineer in Dubai at the National Gas Company. When he is away from the water he fancies riding his mountain bike and enjoys going for motocross riding. Among others he has mentioned that he has a good time in Jet Ski racing but also enjoys the speed of the Class 1 powerboats.

Recently the first round of the World Championship of Class 1 had taken place in Athens, Greece. Though, the local promoters and organizers had faced many difficulties with the National Coast Guard Authorities. As a result the race course of Class 1 was altered in order to meet the safety standards of the Coast Guard. Additionally, the scheduled Personal Water Craft race was cancelled since the safety demands of the Coast Guard did not meet the requirements of the Hellenic Powerboat Association and the overall good for the spectators.

Riva Racing has manufactured a set of sponsons for the Kawasaki Ultra. These sponsons deliver a significant improvement over the stock sponsons with superior blade design and backing plate. They include a bulletproof mounting system that features three anchor points with billet inserts in sponson fins. Backing plate is precision machined from high strength billet aluminium that is anodized to prevent corrosion. Sponson depth is adjustable to control the amount of influence they have on the craft.
