Kawasaki 1500 SX-R was awarded as Best Ski of the Year at the International Boat Show in Japan. Minoru Kanamori who was the project leader of the 1500 SX-R is pictured on the actual ski.

This is an original design of a billet nozzle kit for the 1500 SX-R. According to Yuusuke Hirasaka founder of Killer Racing in Japan, he has been working on this project for over a year. Initially they calculated the waterflow of each speed level by using a special software and when they came up with the best solution they started testing top speed and acceleration. Both were increased and additionally the handling, the intake and pump efficiency were improved compared to the stock nozzle. The reduction nozzle is adjustable (76-87mm) as well as the steering nozzle (79-91mm). Customer can choose one size of each ring when he places an order. The R&D Intake Manifold Ribbon Delete Kit was developed to increase airflow into and through the intake system by relieving restriction. The R&D Intake Manifold Sleeve replaces the OEM intake ribbon producing a 40 CFM increase in air flow. The R&D billet sleeve mounts between the intake manifold and the throttle body creating a superior Venturi effect. The R&D Intake Kit will add low end and mid range throttle response, and a full 100 plus rpms to top end performance.
