With the launch of a new Runabout in Linz, Austria which features new spec, high tech features, unseen until now finish even inside the engine compartment, luxury aesthetics and is powered by a turbocharged three-cylinder engine that produces 333hp at 8000rpm and ensures a top speed of 78mph. However, the luxury performance Runabout will cost 35000euro. Rumors say that the hull has been developed with the aid of IJSBA Pro Runabout world champion Gyorgy Kasza. Official release of the new boat will be presented at the Belassi web site on the 6th of April. Certainly this is a very interesting product however, it applies to a very small percentage of the global pwc market since the sky high price makes it almost unreal to the common users.

R&D Performance and Klipper Racing made a point last weekend at the first Round of the Jet Jam West Coast Jet Ski series where, Canadian Ace, Mike Klippenstein dominated in Pro Stock Runabout Class and he also won in Pro Runabout GP class by riding the same R&D tuned Pro Stock Class spec Yamaha GP1800R. Klippenstein’s ski was fine tuned by R&D’s engineer Bill Chapin according to Klipper’s riding style and needs.
