The first units of the brand new four-stroke Kawasaki SX-R (it should have been named SX-15F) is coming out of the production line today, Jan. 3rd and they would be delivered to the anticipated customers and dealers in four days time. That would leave a minimum amount of time to the riders that would use it for the Mark Hahn 300 race to prepare it and finishing of the breaking. A new era has just started in the history of stand-ups.

The new R&D SXR 1500 Pro Comp Filter is ready to go. Fast. The engineers at R&D have designed the Ultimate Cool Air Filter kit to feed the SXR 1500cc power plant. The R&D System utilizes an oversized specifically designed 7.250” x 5.500” x 6” teardrop shaped R&D Power Plenum Filter with an integrated crankcase vent. The system ducts its air supply to the intake via an “Indy Car” style 3” mandrel bent aluminum tube.
